Working across these brands, I helped create Thompson’s distinctive brand voice, developed advertising for both Thompson and Joie de Vivre, and helped launch Commune founder John Pritzker’s passion project, the Chicago Athletic Association Hotel.
I also developed brand narratives and sales materials for properties ranging from The Cape on Mexico’s Baja Peninsula to Thompson openings in Playa del Carmen, Seattle, Nashville, and Thompson Central Park New York — to name just a few.
After Hyatt acquired Two Roads, I was invited to continue the relationship, crafting stories for properties across the expanded Hyatt portfolio.
My work ranged from brand voice and property positioning to website content strategy, editorial content, advertising, email campaigns, launch materials, sales and events collateral, and other guest-facing experiences.
I especially value partnering directly with hotel GMs and DOSMs to uncover the stories that give each of their properties a distinctive reason for being within its community — and to translate that story into a vivid sense of the guest experience.
Properties I worked on represented an impressive cross-section of Condé Nast Traveler’s 30th Annual Readers’ Choice Award winners:
• 3 of the Top 10 Hotels in Mexico
• 2 of the Top 10 Hotels in Seattle
• 2 of the Top 10 Hotels in Chicago
